Christian Salvation Service provides practical help for women and children who face extreme social, psychological, emotional, and financial hardships. The mission of CSS is to address the needs of society, particularly women and children in crisis, by providing medical care, physical assistance, and emotional and spiritual counseling. Over the years, CSS has developed a strong Women & Teens' Program and a Child Rescue Program with an Infant Respite and a Hospice Care Service. CSS has established the Mu En (Shepherd's Grace) Infant Care Facility. The driving force of Christian Salvation Service is the passion to demonstrate the love of Christ to those in need by giving them a chance at a new life.
CSS provides crucial support services through intensive case management to at risk women and teens. In addition, our social work staff fields more than 7,200 calls annually from those in need of counseling, guidance and assistance with basic needs.
The Child Rescue Program has improved the lives of over a thousand children, many of whom were born prematurely or have significant special needs. By intervening on behalf of these babies CSS provides additional funds and care when insurance coverage is not enough to support necessary medical care. Without this support and counseling, parents of premature or handicapped infants are often unable or unwilling to accept this responsibility and refuse to authorize or seek required care and medical treatment. CSS assumes responsibility for the children's medical treatment and once the babies are stabalized they enter the Mu En Infant Care Facility.
Through our International Adoption Program, many of these infants can be adopted by loving Christian families. One of CSS's greatest strengths is helping birth families, adoptive families, and the children themselves feel as comfortable, supported, safe, and loved as possible during difficult times.
